The Settings page of the app gives you control over your user profile, notifications, integration with your device, and how you seek support.
#
Notifications #
Piere uses notifications primarily to let you know when your accounts have become disconnected from the app, or to explain important updates have been made that we feel may change your experience with the platform such as navigation changes and major new features.
- Be sure that notifications are enabled by navigating to Settings > Notification Settings and ensuring Email and Push preferences are both toggled to the right (on).
Personal Information #
- From the Personal Information page you can edit your date of birth, profile photo, email, phone, and Venmo handles.
- Other users may see your profile photo when you’ve used Piere to initiate a shared/split transaction to or from another user.
General Settings #
- Adjust how long Piere will wait to sign you out after a period of inactivity and give the app permissions to access your phone’s contacts from under General Settings. Access to your phone contacts is needed when initiating a peer-to-peer (shared/split) payment to another Piere user.
- View Piere’s privacy policy, terms of use, and security statement from the General Settings page.
Giving Feedback #
