Piere successfully completed a SOC 2 Type II compliance audit in 2023 (and is actively in the middle of another one), giving Piere the same level of data and security as the nation’s largest banks. This officially backs up Piere’s promise that user data is never sold to any party.
When a user registers with Piere, we collect only the data that we need to provide the intelligent financial management experience that we promise. This data is encrypted at all stages, and we only use vendors who have the same commitments to data security and privacy as we do.
Piere uses MX as its data provider, allowing us to retrieve your balance and transaction data securely and privately. At no point does Piere store users’ bank logins or passwords.
The data provider is SOC 2 compliance audited, leverages cryptographically-strong security measures, and stores data on US-only servers.
