Please allow more control over our rules/filters. The current system is almost insulting with how basic it is. If I change a transaction category, it asks if I want to create a rule and apply to all transactions. There is no option to edit the rule, just a Yes or No style prompt. Clicking yes sometimes works, depending on how hyper-specific the rule you thought I wanted is. Creating a rule for “March Rent Payment” is not helpful to me. Let me set up partial matches. E.g. *Rent Payment* should always be categorized in the Mortgage & Rent category. E.g. A transaction from Amazon with *Cat* in the transaction details is probably Pet Supplies. But I can’t do that with your current system. Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be a way to view and edit the rules once they’re created. The whole rule and filter system was clearly designed by someone who doesn’t use these types of apps and has an alarmingly shallow understanding of how it should work. Rocket Money has many flaws, but their filter system is perfect. Please consider implementing a system similar to theirs.
